She studied graphic design at the Vakalo School (1973-76).
She also studied painting and mosaic at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1978-83).

She lived and worked in Barcelona, Spain, from 1984 to 1986, and in Utrecht and Amsterdam in the Netherlands from 1989 to 1994.
